Hailing from Kiambu County, this gem of a bean grows in rich red volcanic soil in one of the wettest regions in Kenya. The unique terroir in this area allows local micro farms to produce unique high-quality crops, which are fully embodied by this coffee.
Our AA Tinganga is produced by the Tinganga Coffee Estate. Farmers handpick the ripe cherries and deliver them to the mill on the very same day to undergo a wet mill process. Before the coffee is delivered to the final dry mill, it is slowly sun dried on raised platforms.
