Just like BHB’s previous Ethiopian natural coffee, this dry-processed coffee from Ethiopia’s Guji region strikes your palate with an aroma full of intense sweet berries and sugar undertones. As you sip, the cup greets your palate with strong flavors of blueberry, dates, and dried fig. As it cools, the cup offers more of an apricot note.
Every Cup of Coffee Has a Story
Grown at some of the highest-altitude coffee farms in the world, this coffee originates from a family-owned farm. This 250-hectares farm lives in the shadows of evergreens that provide a multi-canopy structure where the deep red and brown top-layer of the volcanic soil bursts with nutrients. The high altitude, rainfall patterns, and relatively dry weather guide the cherries in developing to perfection. The farm practices organic farming and adds new plantings to the farm each year, with all the seeds originating from the local heirloom mother tree.
