We all know and love Guatemala Acatenango Natural, our beloved flagship coffee. This year, Ernesto Perez is treating us to something special: a honey-processed version of this exceptional coffee. Unlike the natural process, where the entire coffee cherry dries on the bean, honey processing leaves behind a sweet, sticky coating - reminiscent of honey - after the cherry is removed. This technique results in a medium-bodied cup with delightful notes of apricots and brown sugar.

The Acatenango region, once part of the renowned Guatemala Antigua coffee, is known for producing elegant, well-balanced coffee with rich aroma and depth of flavor. The high-altitude farms of Finca La Torre cultivate coffee beans in conditions that lower elevations cannot match. With low humidity, intense sun, cool nights, and nutrient-rich volcanic soil, this region provides the perfect environment for growing the best Guatemalan coffee.
